Georgia has worked as a communication designer, editorial illustrator and visual artist for the past 30 years. She worked in studios FHA and Nexus, and The Age newspaper before establishing her own business, freelancing since 1995. She is an academic in the Communication Design program at RMIT University, lecturing since 2003, and exhibits her work regularly.

Georgia was a judge for the Melbourne Art Directors Club Awards and the Walkley Awards. She received an AGDA Pinnacle Award (illustration category) and design awards from the Australian Writers and Art Directors Association and the National Print Awards. In 2011 Georgia was the recipient of an Australian Print Workshop Collie Print Trust Scholarship.

Georgia respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners, the Woi Wurrung language group and the Wurrundjeri tribe, of the East Kulin nation, on whose unceded lands she lives and works.
